Belle Aimée

My dear friend Aimée Swaton has a new website! Aimée, who is not only a mom of three and beautiful wife, is a talented artist who recently started her own company called Portrait of Your Home. Like the painting above, Aimee’s works are done in a style that evokes freshness and femininity which captures the soul of the striking homes she paints. The elegance these paintings exude comes from the inspiration she finds in the textures and authenticity of the materials whether high-tech or with the patina of centuries of history. Aimée splits her time between Paris and Marseilles with frequent visits to her childhood home in Jamaica.

Aimée is an inspiration to me for many reasons. Visit her website today! Her paintings are as beautiful as the woman she is.

On Pedder

My favorite friend and jewelry line, House of Lavande is gracing the windows of On Pedder in Hong Kong.

We are thrilled for you, Tracy! Looks GORGEOUS!

l’Ete est fin.

Summer is over, mes amies. I know this for a few reasons:

1) I live in Florida and it’s peak hurricane season. Today, I am gearing up for Fay. Fun.

2) The September Vogue will be out any day. Which is a banner day for me. I’ve looked forward to September Vogue ever since I learned to read. Honest.

3) I am starting to plan for the OTHER “season”….. That’s the one in Palm Beach where every week there is something fun to attend and everyone comes back!

4) Iva will be back from Croatia soon and Avenue Paris will hit the ground running.

Also, I may have a pretty exciting announcement in the next few days regarding a new “Fashion Editor” for Palm Beach Society Magazine….. So, stay tuned.

In the meantime, if you are in Florida, stay dry.

All The Best!

One of my favorite blogs, All The Best, posted a very stylish article on Tracy today!

Ronda’s blog is amazing- you must check it out! Here is an excerpt, but visit All The Best when you can. You will not be disappointed!

Look up the word style and you are certain to find a photo of jewelry connoisseur Tracy Smith. Tracy, founder of House of Lavande, established her one of a kind jewelry business in 2006. Based in Palm Beach she has traveled the world over combing flea markets from Paris to London, amassing a stunning collection of costume jewelry.

Tracy approaches her search for jewelry with the same historical rigor as collectors of vintage fashion. The expertly curated collection, which has been featured in Town & Country, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, contains over 5,000 pieces by such important designers Elsa Schiaparelli, Kenneth Jay Lane, Juliana, Miriam Haskell, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Christian Dior. Without question, Tracy has established a premiere name in vintage collectible costume jewelry.

In November House of Lavande will open their flagship boutique in Palm Beach. Tracy, alongside friend and interior designer Celerie Kemble, are designing an amazing space to showcase House of Lavande’s astonishing jewelry. I for one want to make the trip to Palm Beach for the occasion!

I am very proud to represent Lena Hyde Photography. She, too is special to me for so many reasons. I met Lena through my friend Allison Hill when my son was born.
